- What is a Medium? This workshop will be based on Liquitex Mediums due to the wide range of high quality options
- Differences Between Additives & Mediums – they may be stored side by side in most art shops but they are not the same beast!
- Types of Mediums – and the info that can be found on the labels
- Can I Use House Paint or House Paint Additives?
- Importance of Surfaces
- Details on Gesso > Mediums > Varnishes
- What Do I Need for Technique XYZ?
- Other brands of mediums?

If you have not attended a workshop on the fundamentals of acrylic paint, this will NOT be covered in this workshop.

We will be hosting “Fundamentals of Acrylic Workshop” throughout the year as this workshop covers the underlying science of acrylic paints
Upon completing this course, Participants will feel more confident about learning new techniques, they will have freedom to explore their own artistic voice, and will be better able to problem solve as they move along in the medium.
$199* (gst inclusive) per person
*you will receive 6 hours tuition + at least 20 samples of different mediums
(equivalent to more than 2.5 Liquitex 237ml tubs – $26.00 ea) + canvas
